Many people go through life trying, and failing, to find comfort in being openly emotional - and Dion Cartington is no exception. For seven years, he has written poetry, as a means of expressing himself and working through difficult times. After a lifetime of struggling, and battling to control and suppress his emotions, Carrington set out on a personal mission to further break free from this malignant routine. A project that was rooted in shadow work and personal development slowly evolved into this debut publishing entitled, 57 Days of Emotions.
Carrington investigates masculinity, growth, evolution and self acceptance through both fiction and nonfiction, in the hopes of revealing an accurate portrayal of the human struggle to reconcile with. all emotions - not just the ones we wear with pride, but also the ones we hide with shame.
