- Anua is really creating new standards in the skincare world. With a superior formula than the gold standard Paula's Choice 2% which has been an essential for many with their acne treatments and exfoliation. Unlike the PC, this toner has soothing repairing ingredients to calm the skin to make the SA more tolerable. Also a lot more affordable.
- Salicylic Acid 2%, is a Beta Hydroxy Acid that is oil soluble so it localizes within the pores and penetrates deeply to unclog, exfoliate and breakup congestion, making it a good treatment for inflammatory blemish type acne and blackheads. It is also great at reducing the appearance of sebaceous filaments and controls excess oil. At 2% potency it is strong and effective just like PC, so it's best to start off 2 times a week and slowly increase as your skin acclimates. If you don't have ance issues then once a week is enough. Dryness or peeling can occur with increased frequency.
- 6 Ceramide complex to repair the skin barrier upon the exfoliation.

- Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Extract 10,000 ppm which also calms mild inflammatory acne. This is not the essential oil, but an extract. Some people have negative irritating effects from the oil. The antioxidant and antimicrobial properties are extracted here.
